Charlie Wilson's War

Just got around to watching this...

wow... how congress works...

The Zin Master story that the dude with glasses tells Charlie...

Boy gets a horse, everyone says "Great"; Zen Master says, "eh, we'll see"
Two years later, boy breaks arm falling off horse, eveyone says, "that's terrible!"; Zen Master says, "eh, we'll see"
Country goes to war and boy cannot go, and people say, "good for you"; Zen master says, "eh, we'll see" ... it goes a littel further, but you get the point...

Tells him to apply that to the Cold War/Afganistan.

Has got me thinking about what I think about war in general.
Any of you fellas have any thoughts on this?
