Chicago area hotels, reasonably priced?...

anyone know of any reasonably priced hotels in or around chicago? We are going to a preseason game at soldier field next month and all the hotels near the stadium are outrageously priced. Even something within 30 minutes or so from stadium would be good. Appreciate any help...

Was looking for something at $125 or less if possible...Saw a few at $159 like dhunter mentioned but was just hoping to find something a little cheaper if possible. Thanks again

opposite for me..think i am in the room like 6 hrs a day and when i am there i am drunk and going to sleep...i did pay 170 a night when in rome..but that was like the cheapest available..i remember renting a room 1 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in guangzhou and didn't even sleep on the bed..slept on the couch because that was where the inet connection was

summer in chicago = expensive hotels because its the convention capital of the country....

wabash...consider staying out near O'hare airport and you can just take the BLUE LINE right into the city from out there

Yeah, couldn't agree more with Windy. I stay downtown whenever I go into Chicago and usually always pay atleast $179 during the summer. Too many conventions and always something to draw people down to the lake until after Labor Day.

Buck in a half in a major city is a steal IMO

You sleep in a coffin in NY for that price or you can always rent by the hour
