Chicago to Savannah
Taking a road trip tonight to see my friend in Savannah. He is turning 30 going back to Iraq. His wife has breast cancer. The wife and I thought we'd surprise them. Mapquest has me going through Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, then Georgia. Anyone know if there is any good scenery, outside of Indiana which is flat. Thanks.

No scenary on 95 sir...sorry



Tons and I mean tons of radar traps in the Carolina's and Georgia. Watch your speed limit leaving 95 onto 85 towards Savannah.


One of the best cities to go to also.

I know there are a lot of twisty-turny mountains in east Tennessee. Lots of trees. And Savannah has a cool boardwalk area along the water. Check it out

Also Go upstairs at a place called "Kevin Barry's" located at the riverwalk... the place has some awesome true pics on the wall...you will see what I mean if you go there.

Last time I was there (couple years ago) there was a boat by the riverwalk with slot machines on it - must have been a Casino boat, but nobody was allowed on board...
