Chicago and Video Poker
To raise extra revenue for the state, the House has voted to legalize video poker across Illinois. If the Govenor approves it (which he will), the state will add 40,000 video poker machines in the next year.

The State Rep. who sponsored this Bill is my cousin, Frank Mautino, from La Salle. He is gamblers friend for sure in this area.

step in the right direction in one sense, but video poker has a notorious reputation on addicted gamblers and their families.
they had em up here in canada ((some provinces still do I think) but they were so addicting that some provinces had them removed and outlawed even. the yukon here decided not to even allow them in the establishments. Hope your local gov. puts in place a decent addiction program for the degenerates this will create.

This is nothing new to Chicago most bars had them in anyway and paid off at least the ones I went in. Only way this country gonna get out of this rut is legalize gambling and Marijuana what the fuk is taking them so long.
