Christina screws up national anthem

The first big goof of the Super Bowl was not committed by the Green Bay Packers or Pittsburgh Steelers.

No, credit the first mistake to Christina Aguilera who botched the lyrics to the national anthem!

Sure the players were nervous as the success of an entire season came down to 60 minutes of football.

But Aguilera recently stated she’s been singing the national anthem since she was a little girl – so no one expected her to goof!

The singer’s mistake happened on the fourth line, which should have been: “O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?”

Instead, Christina sang: “What so proudly we (garbled) at the twilight’s last gleaming.”

Believe it, everyone, because it will live forever on video!

That ho. I lost $2 on the over 1:54 as we clocked it at 1:53 on an Iphone.

Probably would've gone over with another word or two.

It's not always easy. Many DVD movies come with Bloopers in the Special Features. We're all subject to the easiest mistake. Happened to me at 16 playing guitar at CAMP (Canadian Amateur Music Pageant)...my mind wandered for three bars and so did my fingering but got back on track in time. The adjudicator did note it...but got the Silver Medal out of about 450 contestants that long weekend. I played in front of close to 6,000 people--don't know how I did it but I did it.

Same with Olympic gymnasts or artistic skaters--they practice their routine over & over for years only to slip at the competition.
