To clear up.....

Some things about where I live (New Zealand), based on some of the things people have asked me here over the years :

I'm sure alot of you probably don't care, but If I educate someone then its worthwhile as far as I'm concerned :

*New Zealand is a wealthy country, with very low poverty, less than the USA.

*NZ has VERY much a multicultural society. People of all nationalities live here. Approx 60% of European decent, 25% maori/pacific Islander, 5% Asian,
2% American. Not a nationality in the world that doesn't live here.

*With 2.5 million cars for four million people, including children, New Zealand's car ownership rate is one of the world's highest.

*Clean, green country with lots of towns and Cities located near the ocean, beaches.

Just a few things off the top of my head, pinched one from a website

Nothing like America, it is avaliable in every single city. Catch is the government has a monopoly on the sports/horse racing market. You can walk into a shop and place a bet, for example and City with 100K people would have about 20 sportsbetting/horse betting shops. It is legal to bet offshore with other books, for how long that is the case though is another issue. Other forms of gambling is different eg. with casinos etc they are privatly owned.

*Prostitution
Legal. If I look in the phone book right now I could have a hooker here in 20 mins.

*Movies (do they censor the good stuff?)
Similar to the USA

*Public nudity
lol Thankfully u don't see it at all, that article gave us a bad name lol.

*Marijuana
While there is loads of it here and plenty of people use it, it is Illegal.

Cost of living I would say similar to the USA. However house prices are sky rockerting all the time.

Cman u are just excited after reading the prostitution law lmao

But yes not too hard to get residency for people such as yourself who are in a qualified field such as IT, doctors, teachers, they are 3 that are quite highly appreciated here right now. Lawyer I would say u would still have a fair chance even though there is not a shortage.
