Clemens vs. McNamee

Who you got?

I have gone back and forth several times on this deal and am still undecided with a lean towards McNameee

If the DNA evidence proves that Clemens got shot up, does that mean he was shot up with steroids? and if proven that it wasn't him, does that mean he never did use steroids or HGH?

Unless Knoblach or Pettitte turn on Clemens, I still think it comes down to one man's word vs. another and I don't know if I trust either one of them

I just want it go away, for the most part

It's easy to say McNamee is telling the truth and Clemens is the one lying with everything to lose, but I have an uneasy feeling about Mc. I mean who saves 7 year old syringes. I just ain't buying it

I agree though - wish it would just go away. I think the only one really happy about this story staying in the public eye is probably Barry Bonds

i sure hope your right, Jack. It would be nice for the greatest pitcher of our generation to be legimate.

I also keep thinking Congress should have more pressing things to do than to be involved in this. And If the best hitters were juiced, does it really matter if the best pitchers were juiced? Did they really gain any competitive advantage?

How is anyone going to know if the syringes were tampered with. Hell, he could have given him a shot with something legal and then put steroids in the needle at a later point. Seems way to fishy to me.

"You are about to see the second edition of the Duke case," attorney Rusty Hardin said at a press conference in Washington. "I warn you, in five, six or seven months, any of you who got on the bandwagon about Roger taking steroids is going to be embarrassed. It's a fabricated story."

It's being reported now that McNamee is alleging that he injected Clemens wife with HGH under Clemens supervision before they both appeared in a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue

Feel the same way...Just might show what kind of person Clemens is dealing with.
