Cliff Lee to the Phillies!

Jon Heyman of SI.com confirmed late Monday night that Cliff Lee's new deal with the Phillies is worth $120 million over five years.
Yes, he left nearly $50 million of the Yankees' money on the table to go back to a place where he felt comfortable and had immense success. And it's hard to blame him. The 32-year-old turned in a sparkling 3.18 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 28 starts this past year for the Mariners and Rangers, striking out 185 batters while issuing only 18 walks. He will play co-ace in Philly next to Roy Halladay, with Cole Hamels and Roy Oswalt bringing up the rear. Impressive. Dec. 14 - 9:11 am et

Where do you rate this starting rotaionas far as some of the greatest in history?

It could be one of the best ever if Cole H picks up where he left off. Lots of pressure on them though

If Greinke could end up on the Giants, we could have one hell of an NLCS!

As a baseball fan, I would enjoy seeing some starting rotations that do not disintegrate into Zach Duke vs Kyle Lohse type affairs 2 games into a series.

With expansion teams and band box ball parks, baseball has done plenty to boost run production. I would enjoy watching a team take a run at the 1971 Orioles and their 4 20 game winners.

That was the first team I thought of when comparing what Philly has now. I wasn't sure of the years and exact 4, but I knew Atlanta had some strong rotations.
