Which clubs do I need?

Alright, I've been golfing for years and finally have started playing more and working on my game more.
Hopefully I'll keep improving and won't throw as many clubs.
I only have 10 clubs in my bag though: 3i-pw, driver, putter.
Question is, which 4 clubs am I missing to really improve my game?

you need a hybrid club quad. something to substitute the 3i from the rough or from 190+ yards to the green.

also, you need a sandwedge. must have for around the greens in the rough. i have both a lob wedge and sandwedge but just a sandy will do

Thanks WCI..

So I use the hybrid from the rough as opposed to my 3i? Can you hit it in place of a 3i all the time or is it not as good from the fairway?

i dont carry a 3i in my bag at all. use the hybrid in its place because its good to rescue you out of the rough but also feels like a fairway wood from the fairway and can give you a little more confidence you can poke it farther

I'll have to give that a shot. A kid I work with has been trying to sell me a 3 and 4 hybrid and said he'd let me play a round with them first.

its worth it. just go to the range and try it out. its going to take a few rounds to get used to it, but you will see immediate results out of the rough with it for sure

lol, me to off the tee. its the one part of my game that is really struggling. I mean, im a 13.5 handicap that tees off like a 25 handicap. irons to the green, chipping and putting save my ass every round

I'm the other way around man. I'm okay off the tee, nothing big but 200-225 that's usually playable but the closer i get to the green the worse i am.
I just can't seem to be able to put myself in a position to be putting for birdie.

get a lob wedge. it'll help you with those short chips to the green.

3W...a definite on most days you probably better off vs. driver
i have replaced both 3 & 4 irons with hybrids just way easier to hit
gap wedge...for those 100yd shots
sand wedge...obv. and also chips around the green
i have both a 2hybrid & a 60(lob) depending on where i am playing. most players chili dip lobs most of the time so i would play it lower and let it roll
that's my bag. i am 3 handicap. hope it helps and gl
