A new white-tailed deer scent called C'mere Deer is turning more than a few heads.

Local hunters have discovered the new attractant actually repels deer while attracting other unwanted critters.

C'mere Deer is a synthesized chemical formula made from a concentration of minerals and botanical extracts, supposedly formulated to bring in Bambi.

Hunters like Jason Whyte, however, found that C'mere had the opposite effect, and would be more aptly called G'bye deer, hello coon.

"I put the stuff out a couple weeks ago when I had three bucks and some does coming to my stand, and the deer just stopped coming," Whyte explained. "Then my trail cam snapped over 300 photos of raccoons coming to the scent, in a four-day period alone."

Other hunters have reported similar findings. The company responded with a letter explaining it was previously unaware of the findings.
