Cold weather Super Bowl

Is it a good thing or bad thing?

Would it diminish the big game of there was snow or freezing weather or would it make it more exciting?

If & when NY gets the big game will it open up oppurtunity for other cold places to get a Super Bowl or a one time thing?

While we are at it - can we start rotating Thanksgiving home games?

would be a bad thing. especially if a team like Miami is facing a team like green bay.

for fans, teams, etc....would be better to keep it in the south IMO

just like the good ol' CFL...I've been to a few Grey Cups and the outdoor games were always more entertaining than the indoor games....about time NFL considers a cold climate for the super bowl!

I think it would be a good idea

Dome teams have a little advantage if the SB is in the dome!

think it would bring another interesting sub plot to the event so I am all for it!

Plus it would be great for the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl in let's say Gillette or the Ny stadium

Hamil, you go to the Grey Cup in Regina? BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

I grew up 2.5 hrs south of there in NE Montana. Been to Taylor Field 25-30 times. Didn't make the Grey Cup but did go to a late OCT game there that year. Was chilly.

they absolutely should start rotating SB games into cold cities, if you play the rest of the season in those cities, including playoff games, then why not the super bowl too

Regina was close to that. I've been to 8 of the last 9 Grey Cups. Only one I missed was in BC... a Dome game...lol.

Definitely think they should have a cold-weather SB.

definitely should play in cold weather stadiums. does anyone think that there would be a problem filling the stadium if it was cold? hell no.

it would add more to the game IMO.

as far as rotating turkey day games, yes they should.

could be a good thing...the yuppies won't pay the high prices to go and hang out in the cold...the ticket prices could drop and allow for regular people that would want to go and not pay the absurd prices

why do you say that? And Super Bowl is in February so the snow isn't that bad by then. Back in the day these made for good games. 2 words. ICE BOWL

Popularly known as the Ice Bowl, it is widely considered one of the greatest games in NFL history, due to the hostile conditions in which it was played,
