collecting coins?????

does anybody here collect coins or sell them i've been looking at ebay and seems like its a good market and info this hobby????

i want to run this by someone and see if im missing something here.....

06 gold buffalo coin 1oz goes for 675-725 on ebay
shipping on these are 7-14 days on most ads

i can purchase these at 651.25 but the priced does go up and down daily my question is this

what if i run an ebay auction for 720.00 with shipping @ 5.95 only accept checks or money orders once there payment clears i can order the coin and have it shipped to my out of oklahoma i live in texas

as long as i state in my auction that shipping could take upto 14 day does that cover me??

I'm i missing something here or can this work????

1. gold my go up but i can lock in the price for 5 days can gold go up more then 40.00 in 4-5 days??

Just remember there are 2 fees to factor in:

1) The insertion fee. Usually cheap but if, you attach a min bid requirement to your item, it increases the fee.

2) Final Value fee, which is $1.31 for the 1st $25 and then an additional 3% of anything over the $25 up to $1000. So if you sold a coin for $700, the final value fee that Ebay would charge you is $21.56
