Question College baseball in the media

Why exactly is it, that college basketball and football are huge in the media, but baseball hardly creates a ripple?

just doesn't draw the crowds... couple that with minor league baseball... there are so many guys that it's hard for fans to keep track of all the players...

also, I think it has a lot to do with: if a player is a great player he isn't going to college - he's going to sign a minor league deal...

Not too much television either... Baseball is a team sport, but it's individually played (so-to-speak)... I know people cheer for jerseys, but makes it even harder when you don't know any of the players...
