Question Computer Question - Wireless Laptop - Without the USB ..

So I've got my wireless laptop connected ,
In Home
But only works with the wireless usb stick

Few ppl say there's a way you can make your
laptop so it doesn't have to always use the stick?

I've tried a bunch of stuff ,
nothing helping

Thoughts?

2 things first, you need to be in range of a wireless router/signal then look for a micro switch physically on your computer and make sure it is in the on position.
Once you are positive about those 2 then you should go to "control panel" and look for "internet connections", then your looking for "connect to a network" OR "connect to a wireless network". should be a simple few clicks from there.

Also the wireless signal may be password protected so your will need to enter the correct password to hook up to said wireless signal.

Only way you'll be able to connect without a peripheral device is if your laptop has built-in wireless. Anything made in the last year or so should. If it does not then obviously that is why it won't connect.

If it does then as stated above you must turn it on and configure it to your network. If you have done both of these and it still isn't working it might be a router compatibility issue. For instance you have a N+ router and a Wireless G card in your laptop. Sometimes these two don't mesh. Maybe have to upgrade (or downgrade) one or the other.
