What is the Windows Registry Anyway?

Thought this deserved a different thread than the other help one ,

As you continue to use your computer , all your activities on your computer are reflected in your windows registry.

Eventually over time and use your computer becomes bloated , and slows down with age.

When this happens you need to either download a free registry fix , or go out and buy one ,
or do it manually.

Your computers windows registry is the space in your computers memory where all configuration data about your computers hardware and software are stored as well as your usage and downloads (music , movies , etc)

Whether you install a piece of software or hardware in your computer or change a setting all actions are RECORDED IN WINDOWS REGISTRY in the form of keys and values.

Each file in your computer has a corresponding key and value in your registrry.

Whenever you delete a file or uninstall software or hardware ,
all the registry keys and values are also deleted. BUT ARE THEY ?

What usually happens is these uninstalled programs leave registry keys behind becaause the programmers never thought you’d delete them...

Same thing happens when software is installed.
If you get an error message unable to install ,
they create redundant key entries ...
SOME UNISTALLED CORRUPTED KEYS CAN STAY IN YOUR COMPUTER ...



This makes it hard for the computer to read all the data it needs to operate .
And affects its performance .

Before your computer slows down do a registry scan.

You can find free downloads on the internet , but best option is to go out and but a scanner/cleanr .
