Just seen Blake Shelton ay Wisconsin State Fair He started out strong with his most popular hits than went alittle boring with to much talking. Seen Billy Currington a while before Blake and his show was much better

Bob Seger put on a great show last night. Tickets were $80 per seat everwhere (and that's rare).

had to pass on the Prince concert--got home a bit late. maybe next time Prince.

I saw Pink Floyd do The Wall the first time--at the Nassau Colisseum (I believe it was 1979). To date, it remains one of the most memorable shows I ever saw.

As for recently, I forgot to post it, but 2 weeks ago I saw John Fogerty at The Beacon Theatre in Manhattan. Still rockin'. Still sounds great.

he played the entire Cosmo's Factory album from start to finish--and then proceeded to play another 15-20 Creedence and solo tunes

Local reviews gave Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band a 5 Star (out of 5) Show. I would have given it 4.5 because it took a while--about half the show to get the perfect sound accoustics.

Ottawa's Scotiabank Place where the Ottawa Senators play seated 13,500 fans--the most on Bob Seger's Tour. Goes to show the critics are very wrong about my city being dead for whatever.

Just released on DVD is Seger's New Jersey date on this tour: "All Time Rock N Roll"...sometimes a concert DVD is better than live but in this case the live show is better than the DVD.

...the East Coast concerts were in February 1980; The Wall concert was only performed 31 times in four cities: Los Angeles, New York, Berlin & London (all 1980-1981)

I remember you saying this before. I tried to get some tickets for one of the 3 New York Shows but was sold out in one hour. Two other shows were added right after making it 5 nights in a row and those were sold out in 3 or 5 hours. Really wished I had seen one...but I have two other concert memories of Pink Floyd which I will never forget--Animals at the Montreal Olympic Stadium 1977 & A Momentary Lapse of Reason at the Toronto CNE Stadium 1988

so, I saw the cast of the Broadway show Million Dollar Quartet along with Robert Gordon ("My gal is red hot...your gal ain't doodily squat...") last night at BB King's Blues Club in Manhattan. I actually liked the MDQ cast better (I have seen the show previously) than Robert Gordon. Here is a pic of the Million Dollar Quartet cast:

Saw Rick Springfield a couple of weeks ago. Put on a pretty good show and you would never guess he was 62 years old.

Anybody seen Kool Keith? He's coming around the area, thinking about seeing him. He's old, but still has an articulate flow.
