Saw this last night.

The cop is an idiot for going over there in his uni, threatening charges, cuffing him, etc.

Cop is suspended now, I believe. The boy and his family are going to press charges for "false imprisonment" among other things, and will probably end up suing, knowing how people love to do that these days.

Should've just confronted him as a man, no uniform or gun involved, in the cop's own house. Just have a word with him, no threats.
