They may have..we prolly will never know. Also,If an officer fears that someone's life is in grave immediate danger he can react as he/she sees fit.

Tragic scenario there. I know it has happened in DC/MD a few times over the years. Would be kinda curious as to why the one shot did not have his badge out in hand.

Really doesn't matter,can hope that alot will learn from this

most cops, especially in ny are trigger happy
