craps question

when playing from the dont pass and don't come bars, can i increase my wager on true odds as the roller continues.

say im playin 5 dollar with 100x odds, shooter rolls a 6, i lay 120, then im on teh dont come, shooter rolls a 9, i lay 150, shooter rolls a 9...NOW, can i add another 120 to my initial dont pass with the 6? is that legal?

just wondering if you would be allowed to try to get to chase 3-4 points against one shooter, i guess is another way of wording it

i think as long as you don't exceed table limits you can lay or take back odds money as you please on either number.

You can increase your odds bet up to the limit. You can even pick it up if you think you will lose. You can't touch your initial flat bet.

Its such an intimidating game at first, but once you learn it, nothing more fun at a casino to me

agree.. That is why most people wont try (intimidation). If you go to the casino in the morning, you can usually find a slow table with just a couple players and have a dealer explain it..

Another good way is to learn it from a book and practice online in a "play for fun" casino... (just dont bet any real money online, lol)

i hate turtle heads. I usually just lean to the side and it usually drops. If it doesn't, I just shake back and forth.

Hope this helps.

Craps

My favorite game period!

Play the 6,7,8. No Hard ways. No field bets. No BIG 6 or BIG 8(true odds are better on the regular 6 & 8 than even money on the BIG 6 & 8.

Each roll there is certain % that each # will hit.
They are as follows:
2 2.9%
3 2.9%
4 8.8%
5 11.7%
6 14.7%
7 17.6%
8 14.7%
9 11.7%
10 8.8%
11 2.9%
12 2.9%

47% chance each roll the # will be a 6,7 or 8.
Of course these 3 #'s don't pay as good as betting and hitting on the other numbers but there is a reason why.

If you want to have fun do whatever you want. Play the silly hard ways and field bets you will hit sometimes but odds are against you in the long run.

I like to WIN so I bet on the don't come opening roll. As long as its not a 7 0r 11 then the odds are in your favor. Play the 6 and 8 and hope 7 hits before the point number. If opening roll is a 6 or 8 then you go with your gut feeling.
There's more to it than this but this should help out anyone who may want to take a shot at it and play this addictive game!
Later,
LarryD.

Never been a craps player......usually stick to BlackJack

For those around the Ameristar and Majestic Star in East Chicago, IN...the tables are hot!! Up $2,700 last 3 weekends. Won't be going back up now until after the Super Bowl. Anyone around interested in meeting there sometime?
