Craps Tips

I'm going to Vegas for the first time over the weekend. Have played craps in AC a few times with relatively small wagers. I generally have played the Pass and Come line with max Odds (3/4/5 tables if possible) and that's worked out well. Any tips from experienced players that might help me max profit?

play small til someone hits a hot streak and then go hard on the hot streak. thats the best way i've been successful. its just a fun game to play, i never really count on breaking the bank, but i usually just wait it out til someone gets hot, usually happens and thats where i make my money on the numbers and odds

You'll drink and drive but you'll make sure the toilet bowl is covered. It's good that you are always looking out for your health.

FYI - I did laugh when I read this.

I personally don't like craps but man those tables always sound exciting and sound like someone is winning. Good luck

Actually craps is the best odds for the player. If you play it right. Bet the pass line with max odds behind it and the house advantage is only 1%. Place bets are the next best and are more fun. Stay away from everything else. The field, hard-ways, Big 6/8, and the horn have really bad odds. They are more like 11% house edge. Taking odds on your place bet is a must. It is the absolute only bet in a casino that the house has no advantage. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice...this is generally the way I play and it's been both profitable and fun (becuase you're generally betting with 90% of the table).

You are completely wrong sir. Craps is the best, if not a close second, game for the player.

I play the pass line and double up behind it. Then I'll place the 6 and 8 unless the point is 6 or 8 in which case I'll play the other the hardway (my own thing, no real strategy here). On the 5th or 6th roll on the same point I'll play a $1 Yo.
Sometimes I'll place bet the hot roll - like if 9 keeps coming out or something... - game is streaky; you gotta watch the way the dice are rolling and the luck of the shooter. Great Game!!! Everything else in the casino is too slow paced.

Good Luck to ya!!

I'm thinking BlackJack may have a slightly better player advantage IF you know how to count cards properly and can do it consistently. I know how to do it, I'm just not focused enough to keep up with it.

If you can count cards then you have the advantage. That is why the casino will kick you out. Craps and blackjack if played perfectly are the best player odds. Both under 1% house edge.
