Credit Card Situation

So I deposited about 600 bucks into my mvpsportsbook account over the course of a week and a half. It was six deposits total. Now over the course of these deposits I was never told that it would go in as a cash advance. I called my CC company and they told me that it is their responsibility to let me know that it will be a cash advance and not a purchase. Any suggestions on what I should do... I called the CC company they said to call the 3rd party who actually does the charging...called them and they said it wasn't their problem, called mvp and she hung up on me. Do I have an arguement???

How long have you had a credit card???

What you did was just as if you went to the ATM and withdrew $600 from your CC. In other words, you took a cash advance of $600, therefore, interest is charged on the amount immediately.

Didn't I tell you to take out half the money and pay back your CC last week???

Usually any type of gambling charge or western union for that matter shows up as a cash advance.
