Years ago I use to use credit cards all the time and just make payments. Really didn`t even look at the interest until one day i was doing some figuring. This is a rough sketch. Lets say you have a balance of $5,000.00 and just send the minimum payment of $100.00. $86.00 go`s to the interest and $14.00 go`s toward the priniciple. If my calculations are right it would take around 30 years to payoff that one credit card. I paid my credit cards off years ago and very seldom do I use one to this day. If I do use one I pay it off in full when the bill comes in that way there`s no interest. Not sure about finding a credit card with no interest or payments for 12 months, but I would think there would be a catch somewhere unless they just get there percentage from the purchse you make from the company you buy the trip from. Lets say 3-5%.

What u could do is use an existing card put the trip on that. And I get deals all the time where u can transfer that balance to a new card for no interest no payments.

Don't use credit cards, I have a merit line that hangs around 3%. Buy a house and build some equity to get yourself some decent interest rates for borrowing. Any Credit card above 10% cut it up, there are low ones out there if you really need a card.

Harry: I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.

Lloyd: I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shit, man.
