D.C. Area Mob Shoplifts from 7-11 Store

A mob of some 50 people shoplifted snacks and drinks from a Maryland 7-Eleven Saturday night. As officers arrived at the Silver Spring convenience store late that evening, the crowd of what mainly seemed to be teenagers, dispersed.

Police stopped a group of six people ages 16-18 near Tech Road and Broadbirch Drive. Each had items from the 7-Eleven but no receipts, police said.

Detectives are investigating whether the shoplifters had attended a birthday party in the area, police said.

Police released the following surveillance video of the mass-theft in the hopes of identifying the individuals involved:

Happenned in my city (Ottawa) just a couple months ago (a few blocks from my house) for the first time...police have yet to make an arrest. All they need is one and the rest are ratted on. It's online and the world saw it.

This is just disgusting.

****ed up their lives as it will cost them $300 fine from the store + $100 court fee to do community work + it gets them an offense record. Nice future jobwise!!!...and if they have a job their employer gets notified of this too, not just their parents.
