Dahmer survivor held on $10,000 bail in drowning death
The man who led Milwaukee police to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer 20 years ago has been ordered held on $10,000 bail in the drowning death of a man.
Tracy Edwards, 52 and another man, Timothy Carr, 44, are charged with recklessly endangering safety in the drowning of Johnny Jordan. They allegedly argued with him, picked him up and threw him off a downtown Milwaukee bridge last week. * Topics * Court Preliminary * Jeffrey L Dahmer * Trials In July 1991, Edwards escaped from Dahmer's apartment and led police to him. Edwards' attorney asked the court commissioner to allow his client to participate by telephone for his bond hearing over the weekend, citing potential adverse publicity of video showing Edwards' in handcuffs. But the commissioner denied it, set bail at $10,000 and an Aug. 8 preliminary hearing. |
