Damn.... I am making boatloads of money in the MVP Poker rooms.

I play a lot of poker... I am not claiming to be the greatest, but I am better than the average player. I had been playing poker on Bodog and I was making some money and then all of a sudden out of nowhere I would get like 5 or 6 bad beats in a row on big hands, and lose all my profit. There were some good players there, of course the lower the limits you play, the more fish there are.

Not to knock anyone that plays at MVP, I don't know if I have played against any of you in there yet, but I have been cleaning up there in the cash games. I have only been playing .50/1.00 NL, but I make more money on those tables then I do at higher ones just because of the shear fact that I am far better than 75% of the people at the table, and I'm not even that good. People have made some horrible calls against me, people will call with anything. It adds up after awhile. And I have actually been winning when I SHOULD win so far unlike Bodog. (ex. KK getting beat by A3 or a lower pocket pair which seemed to happen ALL the time)

Only problem is that there is not nearly as many games going on, there are only like 3 or 4 cash games going on at a time, but it seems like a lot of people there are complete amateurs playing for their first time because they see it on TV. Their software also sucks, but the money is what counts. I know these aren't the biggest limits, I'm not trying to brag about it, but I would rather consistantly build up a small amount of money then risk bigger amounts where the swings are up and down against players that are as good or better than me.

Anyone here ever play Poker at MVP?

Of course, I am almost positive I just jinxed myself and I am going to get bad beats for the next couple of days.

I'll keep an update on how things go.

Thanks Odds!

I should correct my statement about me making boatloads of money, cause there are people that make a lot more than me playing higher limits. I just meant consistant money and it doesn't look like it will stop when people keep calling all the way down to the river with a pair when I got a set

Don't get me wrong, the players there suck at the lower limits, but they always seem to catch cards to beat me on the river.

Another successful night in poker. Great end to my night as well as someone was playing the worst poker I have seen in my life... raising every hand, betting big on every flop... He got beat twice in a row when there were 2 kings on the board and he kept bluffing into it when it was painfully obvious that the other person had the king. He blew 50 dollars in about 3 minutes, I only ended up getting 5 dollars out of it. Meanwhile he was saying that he was really drunk, so that probably added to his already terrible play. I told him he sucked and he was like I will challenge you for any amount of money heads up. I should of played him for at least 50 but I was worried about him maybe getting lucky so I took an easy 20 dollars from him heads up, probably the easiest winnings of my life as he went all in with Q 8 and I had A Q.

Ended another profitable night at MVP! Havn't had a losing one yet, up over $100 in a few days and that is playing small limits so that isn't bad.

Why hassle him??? LET HIM PLAY!!!

These guys at Bodog are clueless, Started off playing some 10-20 and 15-30 limit, then I start playing their NL games man o man are these guys bad, a couple of people know what there doing and i mean a couple. Deposited 1k last wed and today I stand at 8,500, One of the nicest runs ive had in awhile.

Alright, we will run that shit!!

And jpasco the reason I said that is because I knew I would hurt his ego because he was bragging at how he was up over 3000 dollars which is impossible the way he was playing. I WANTED him to challenge me in a heads up match cause I knew it would be an easy winner.
