dave's bread recipe special

Love this one. Very simple can be made quick no kneading needed! You do need a slimish bowl/pot to cook it in.

Personally I pile avocado on it

*Dissolve 1 teaspoon of raw sugar in one cup of boliling water and stir.

*Add 1 cup of cold milk

*Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of dried yeast over

*Let stand for about 5 minutes.

- Into another bowl add :

-1 and 3 quarter of a cup of whole meal flour

-1 and 3 quarter of a cup of plain flour

-1 tablespoon of wheat germ

- 2/3rds of a teaspoon of salt.

Now here u can add anything else u like chopped nuts, seeds, sultanas are my personal favourite.

*Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir well.

* Put into well greased (Olive oil/cooking oil) earthenware pot.

Place into a cold oven and turn to the lowest temperature for 30 mins.

Then turn to 200 Celsius and bake for 30 mins.

Enjoy

No, cause a bread maker would knead/mix the dough - and the 'no kneading' is the beauty of this way of making it into a simple way to make bread.

However the recipe is much the same as other bread recipes so i can't see any reason why it couldn't be kneaded (worth a go though).

My bread maker has the options to mix and then you can knead or not knead after a rising stage... will try it... I like making homemade bread... love wheat germ... good with pancakes!
