David Kahn insinuates NBA lottery is rigged?

David Kahn insinuates NBA lottery is rigged? - CBSSports.com

Right before they went to commercial I was thinking to myself that since its not show live they absolutely have to have some sort of audit so people wouldn't question the validity of this thing and now this. I personally find this hilarious and yes I do think they send players to cities as they see fit.

Its not some coincidence that Cleveland & Utah recently lost superstar players and then hit the lottery. They feed the players into the markets they feel need an injection or as a bonus for fan loyalty.

"This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines," Kahn said. "Last year it was Abe Pollin's widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. We were done. I told Kevin: 'We're toast.' This is not happening for us and I was right."

im saying its fixed or it isnt.

but the NBA needs to do a better job with the lottery.

#1 thing is you need to do the ping pong balls in public, not a fricking envelope already in order and knowing whos in it. its just pathetic marketing. what benefit is there is doing the lottery behind closed doors. let some random pull out ping pong balls. show the equal amount of ping pong balls going in, so there is no doubt.

i dont give a shit if ernst and young accountants are there behind closed doors. probably the easiest guys to lie.

Kahn will get a big fine, but I think he is right. You may not call it fixed, but I for damn sure believe the outcome of the 1st pick is known well before the lottery show. Polin's widow shows up and bam the Wiz get the pick. Gabriel's son shows up and bam the Cavs win it. When the Cavs got the last #1 pick, it was a strange coincidence the team from Ohio gets the chance to pick Lebron #1. Stern and Vince McMahon (WWE) might be related.......After his comments, I doubt the league office sends Kahn a X-Mas card...

Yeah the NBA pumps back players in the markets they think need it most.

Cleveland and Utah lose 2 stars and magically they get the players via the lottery.

I really thought they had some independent audit since they don't show it live....pretty crazy.

just the fact there is a lottery in the first place is suspicious enough

the worst team shoudl get the #1 pick and so on like every other freaking league

LMAO NBA Network showed this David Khan guy yesterday and he looked pretty distraught and disheveled but they wouldn't show the part where he questioned the lottery since its the NBA's own channel.

Here is the 85 lottery when the Knicks got Ewing and at exactly the 47 second mark if you stop it you can see the envelope is clearly bent. Not sure what the deal is but obviously if you already distrust the NBA having the envelope that is clearly the KNICKS envelope can't hurt your argument lol.

NBA has been fixed for years, particularly the lotteries...just look at what Donaghy got away with and how long he got away with it...David Stern looks like the kind of guy who sells junk bonds to little old ladies...
Speaking of fixed, how about that fourth quarter last night?

Wheres Seanie Mac when you are talking about something being fixed.

IMO its fixed. Why shouldn't the worst team in the league get to pick first. Doesnt make sense to me
