The day after

The NFL brings lots of excitement.

There is hope from 32 teams that this year will somehow be different. Sorry Detroit, St Louis, Buffalo, etc

There is hope that hundreds of contest players will go 5-0. God week 1 is hard.

There is hope that your team won't blow 4th quarter leads. Sorry Cleveland.

There is hope that maybe the refs are on your side. Sorry Detroit

There is hope you have a coach that knows what the hell he's doing. Sorry Buffalo

There is hope you are an elite team this year. Sorry San Francisco

There is hope that somehow two primadona wide receivers can dominate. Sorry Cincinnati

There is hope that somehow letting your franchise future hall of fame quarterback move to a division rival was a good idea. Sorry Philadelphia

There is hope that your head coach will be your teams head coach next season. Sorry Dallas, Carolina, Denver & Cleveland

The good news there is always next year!

McNabb led his team to zero touchdowns and he completed less than half of his passes. He won, but was no difference-maker. If someone leaves a team, who cares where he goes.

Not sure what Chan Gailey did that was so stupid. Bills, except for moments here and there, just could not move the chains. Don't think that was poor coaching.

Wade did not cost Dallas the game yesterday, it was Jason Garrett. Since it was Garrett it means its on Jerry. Tired of Wade being a scapegoat.

His job is defense and his defense is sick. Jerry wanted Garrett to controll the offense. He got his wish and the Cowboys got a loss.

Wade should have called (overrode JG's call), "TAKE A KNEE" right before the half. 990/1000 coaches would have taken a knee in that situation. The worse case scenerio happened...

With that said, you are correct, Dallas' "D" is sick.

I just hope this one that "got away" doesn't haunt us.
