Deer hunting ?

Who amongst us in here like to chase after that whitetail buck or doe? Or maybe in some parts on the country a blackmail or pronghorn ? I myself bow and rifle hunt whitetail deer. Also if someone would like to share wild game recipes, that is always a plus. Good luck and shoot straight. In Alabama bow season started Oct 15th.

Always wanted to bow hunt, never did...

Bow season started 3 weeks ago, rifle tomorrow. Too old to just shoot a doe, look for horns anymore. I'll keep the steaks, give the burger to local food bank.

I will hunt elk and deer towards the last couple weeks of the season which ends the Saturday of Thanksgiving.

Enjoy, good luck.

I had elk once in Colorado and man it was good. I donate some food myself. That is a great thing. I just cube the beat and hamburger the rest. I keep the neck in a roast and loins whole. Hunt hogs also and small game. Got sons in it too. Good luck yo ya Grz

Do a lot of deer hunting myself, both bow and shotgun. Live In Louisville now, but grew up on a family farm in Michigan. Spend 2 weeks vacation every November up there hunting a week of bow season and then the 1st week of shotgun season (starts Nov. 15th)

Don't eat it as much as I used to, so only usually take one per year. The steaks and burger feed me pretty well, my wife doesn't like it much. Enjoy the relaxing time outdoors more than anything, especially during bow season.

LMAO, they (animals) are property of the State. I buy a license to hunt them, legally.

Now go enjoy your salad.

I know what you're saying BUT deer population left unchecked by laws and prohibited hunting would increase highway accidents ten-fold per year let's say...besides, the cities would be rampant with scavenging deers. That kind of world don't make sense to me. That's why Government opens and closes specific game seasons with licences and allows one (or two) kills per hunters. Make sense?
