Defunct Football Leagues

Do you miss the XFL or USFL?

How about the CFL w/American city teams (CFL-USA)?

The old AFL before they merged with the NFL?

Other?

I LOVED the USFL. Real talent. Great games. Good gambling. Made some money on the Generals (Flutie, Herschel) and the Gamblers (Jim Kelly)... Good stuff!!

XFL could have been cool. I liked it, but can understand why many didn't.

Whatever it is, it is MORE FOOTBALL!! -- I love it!!! Bring it on!!!

39. I started young. Had a bookie (Irish mob guy) at 13 (well, put bets in through my uncle at first, then started calling direct -- it was cool).

of course they will..if one can bet on little league world series, i am pretty certain a another "pro" american football league will have odds assessed...plus the arena football league had lines...it is a no brainer that this new league will be lined

XFL was a trip--especially because the books would take (limited) action it. There was a weekend when they decided to let the clocks keep running even on out of bounds plays. The unders all came through that weekend.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

The CFL-USA, XFL and USFL were much more entertaining and much more easier to make money on than the NFL. But props goes to the NFL admin for promotion & advertisement and higher stock ($$$) players.

I prefer today's CFL to the NFL for the above pointers. May sound crazy on the surface but it's by a landslide.
