anyone else been watching this new show ?

i think its ok- kinda slow- i was a big fan of imperioli in sopranos was really lookin forward to this but its sort of a let down in my opinion

find it boring myself...BUT...i do personally someone that works this exact area and they tell me its pretty damn accurate for this shithole.....uses actual people that work that area as well

lol, I grew up in "that area", depending on what section of town they talk about in the show. This is NOTHING like the real Detroit.....there are areas that are like this or a little worse, but it is very limited. Most areas are nothing like it and are a lot better. Detroit for sure has its shitholes, but so does every town.

Been watching it from the beginning. The acting by Michael Imperioli is very disappointing compared to The Sopranos. Actually all the acting is bad and the show go`s to slow to keep my attention. I personally don`t think Detroit 1-8-7 is going to last to much longer.

Highland Park and Hamtramck both within city limits of Detroit and both in pretty bad shape. Detroit has lots of work to do and it needs to start with the people that live there.

I hear more people are moving in Downtown ever since property values have went down and that can't hurt in the long run but Detroit as a whole needs a lot of work.

As far as the show is concerned its nothing more than average.
