Why is it the Lions always play on thanksgiving?

I've never known why

Let me ask you this, if they were a good team would everybody still complain? You don't hear Dallas mentioned in this conversation much, is it simply because Detroit is so bad or do you think it should rotate all the teams and have Dallas lose their tradition also?

No if they were a good team I don't think you'd hear as much. Hey some of my greatest gambling moments were with Rodney Peete & Wayne Fontes. Lol

I'd love to see them beating the pats but I really can't see it happening. Gl sturg

actually it's because those two teams stepped up to the plate when it was first initiated (nobody else wanted those games except Detroit and Dallas at the time)... and then it became tradition...

i dont know.. they are finally good so it may be ok now for them to play. In the past it did suck. I won like 3 bills on them a few years back when they played your Dolphins and Miami was only -3 .. lol
