Dickie V is the least informative announcer
I rarely listen to him when I watch ball, but today I have and he has added absolutely nothing to this broadcast. I always thought this guy was a moron but this is rediculous.

ESPN has this guy as thier number one NCAA basketball color analyist???? That's a goddam shame. Typical overhyped ESPN personality. Awful

At least he's enthusiastic and usually in a good mood. Billy Packer is just a grumpy old prick with nothing positive to say.

I like Vitale but I think that he usually is on Duke's and Reddick's jock.

agree...he never talks about the x's and o's...all he does is hype stuff...oh he is great...oh they are the best ever...great play...blah blah...never says what strategy should be applied or what was done wrong during a given sequence...total hype mofo

Dickie V is annoying as hell, we call him DUKIE V in the triangle.

But most annoying and un-informed goes to Billy Packer and Brent Musberger.
Anyone remember when Musberger tried calling NFL Games? He was so bad it was sad!
Packer is a wake forest alum and he lets you know, esp when they play, everything is a foul on the other team!

vin skully...simply the BEST....INCREDIBLE voice that resonates with every sports fan.
I love the voice, it gives me chills, cause I remember listening on my AM radio late at night to vin call the dodger/giants games in the early 80's.

He could paint a picture of the game as if you were there live. Wish he'd do more games.
Chick Hearn was a great one too, sad he passed. Always love listening to Dick Enberg, sadly him and skully are getting very old. Those two are the best.
Woody Durham, UNC announcer for almost 50 years, is a hell of an announcer too. He never left cause he loves unc but had big time offers. Incredible announcer, just forgets the score sometimes. LOL
