Lost 19lbs in 14 days on the South Beach diet. No carb/no sugar (no beer).

That was 6-7 years ago...about to do it again.

My buddie's ex-wife lost 25 lbs on the 17-day diet (not sure what exactly it is). She looks good enough to eat.

Good luck.

A couple of years ago I did something called the Master Cleanse. Although it's more meant to be a purification diet you do lose quite a bit of weight. First time I did it I did 17 days and lost about 22 lbs. Second time was 10 days and lost about 12 lbs.

More importantly, I felt GREAT! It was like pushing a giant reset button for your body.

It's not easy, especially the first 2 or 3 days, but after that it becomes a lot easier.

Google it and if you need any help or have any questions let me know.

Good Luck!

eggs/ham (no bread!)

all kinds of meat--eat like a king. low-fat burger, steaks, pork chops, chicken breast, fish, etc (no potato)

green veggies (no corn)

There was no calorie count, eat as much as you want, just no carbs/sugar.

The South Beach diet has a book you can get @ any bookstore. Lots of menu items.

I'm sure i'll get a few comments about this again -

look up corn syrup - avoid any product that has it ,

Had to lose 15 lbs in 3 months ,
for a surgury op

stay away from white bread ,
pop ,
bakery section
prepared foods ,

ANY PRODUCT LABLED WITH CORN SYRUP

few examples
will get back later with
what I did
excercise

I half assed followed the weight watchers points... trimmed down my breakfast through late afternoon snack big time... breakfast is some oatmeal, vitamins, and a banana; drink water all day long; lunch is a salad with light dressing and grilled chicken; have some almonds as a snack...

That leaves me hating life by the end of the day, but I use the rest of my 'points' to drink my dinner.

Honestly, following the above, I never swing more than 5 pounds off of 230... The leanest I ever got to was 195, but that was six pack abs and minimal body fat...

If your goal is only too lose weight and not be healthier/lower cholesterol/ sodium/etc. , then just use more calories then you intake. Depending on height/weight/heart rate you should be able to get a close estimate of what your body uses if you did not excersize. If you can't or don't excersize then intake less than that number. If you do excersize then take in less then your normal plus what you use excersizing and you'll lose weight. The problem with diets is they are only as good as your on them so most people lose the weight go off the diet and put it back on. The best way is the make changes in diet and excersize that you can sustain, basically lifestyle changes, that should help keep the weight off.
