DirecTV question/merged

Im thinking about switching over to directv pretty soon and got a quick question for everyone that has it. I figure this will be faster than emailing them. I went to their website and picked a package and checked all the hardware i needed, and it showed the start-up and harware cost of about $300 and the first month's cost at $125. Does anyone know if I would have to pay the start-up cost when it gets installed? Or can i pay it later, and just pay the 1st month's bill? Just wondering cause im moving into a new place and will have a ton of bills. Thanks guys.

I love Directtv. use me as a referal and we will both get $50 off the bill that might help.

everything is negotiable with them as well, by far the best dish service out there. Got the Super fan for free this year just for asking as long as a 2nd HD reicever.

anybody go through verizon with it? they offer phone, tv and internet. might switch instead of just going through direct tv

They gave me some garbage that since I had Directtv before I had my phone line through Verizon that I couldn't get the one bill option, even though we have the cells through them too

switch over to the triple bundle. phone, internet, directtv

haven't recieved a bill yet.

it was $112 plus the extra sunday ticket, HD, HBO+cinnemax.

I was paying like 75 phone and internet
100 for TV

now I am paying $112 plus 24 HBO and 10 HD channels

So going to save me around $20-$30.

I could of upgrade from DSL to Fios for $9 but no need DSL is fast enough.

I will let you know if its different when I get the first bill.

Do you make long distance calls off the land line?

its not the smallest but its the middle package.
