Always a good one.
We use to do the same thing in the bars with a tailor made
(smoke)
just lick the back of your thumb and press a tailor made in the same situation and `voilla`(sp) the smoke disappears.

Heres another one.
between your thumb and index finger, hold an icecube for about 30 sec to a minute,(the trick here is to NOT let anyone see you doing this) then pick up a lit ciggy and hold the lit end between the two cold points. something like this
