which do you perfer im wondering which is better a favorite up and the D holding or your behind the spread and you need 1 more score????

Favorites up (especially up big) do not feel a sense of urgency, thus allowing a backdoor cover.
If one more score would not alter the outcome of the game, but rather the final point spread, that would be a better situation to be in.
