Do you attend many concerts?

If so are there certain bands that you always see or are you open to new music?

If not....why?

Open to a lot of new music, also have seen a lot of bands over and over. I've seen the Tragically Hip 20 times, Tim McGraw 8, Petty 5. Going to see Petty again 6-21. When you see a good live act, especially one that doesn't give you the same cookie cutter set list from night to night, you will always go back to see them again. That being said, we get a lot of concerts that come our way here in Western New York/Southern Ontario, so I do try to open my ears to new stuff too

Try to do 4-6/year.

Dave Matthews Band, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Seether, Staind, Breaking Benjamin.

Used to go to Powerhouse every year (back when rap was good) it was top artists every year.

I agree 100% all good bands change up the setlist nightly. If I wanted to see a greatest hits show I'd play the CD

A good 6 per year right now. It was a good double that number back in the '80s.

Nazareth, April Wine and Bryan Adams are the three bands I've seen the most...whether in Arenas, Festivals, or Rock Bars. (6x each at least).

Deep Purple: 3x in Ottawa

Pink Floyd: 2x (Toronto: The Division Bell & Montreal: Animals)

Roger Waters: 2x (Montreal: Pros & Cons of Hitchiking & Ottawa: Dark Side of the Moon)

Metallica, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, Mountain, James Blunt, Dr. Hook, Robert Plant, Slayer, Judas Priest, Tom "fukin" Jones--lol, Eric Clapton, Moody Blues (to name a few in Toronto , Montreal but mostly Ottawa).

Also luved Canadian Rockers growing up and saw the following acts at least once (aside from the other Cdn bands above):

Streetheart, Loverboy, Triumph, Honeymoon Suite, Teenage Head, David Wilcox, Heart, BTO (Bachman, Turner, Overdrive), Colin James, Coney Hatch, Kim Mitchell, Corey Hart, Headpins, The Guess Who, Helix, Blue Rodeo, Trooper, Prism, Chilliwack, Stampeders, Five Man Electrical Band, Max Webster, Moxy, Doucette, Saga, Red Rider, Burton Cummings, and Rush--never did like Rush that much except about for 5 tunes--too complex I guess).

I'm sure I'm missing quite a few, and big acts too. I've seen about 150 concerts in all...maybe more.

I've met Randy Bachman backstage...have a photo and he also signed a CD. Also met Nazareth in a bar in Toronto (Rock & Roll Heaven) and also Honeymoon Suite (same bar) and Max Webster (Hooper's Cafe--Bar in Ottawa--they were our study when I was going to Trebas Institute of Recording Arts back then).

Fun Days. Don't regret anything.

Don't go to many - just prefer a small venue.

Got some friends that just play the guitar. Call me gay, but I like jsut sittin around the fire drinkin a few beers listenin to just the guitar (words optional), chillin out.
