At the Heat parade - they had some politicians speaking (you know they want to be part of it).

Well this one Miami offical was going on and on how she loved the Heat and was making this long speach to the players and giving out proclomations.

So the lady was all set to introduce Wade and was hyping him up like a PA announcer and this is how she announced him.

"His name is Wade Jones!" Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan said as O'Neal, Mourning and several other players cracked up.

Wade Jones is Jordan's campaign manager.

You probably had to be there but needless to say it was very funny.

It reminds me of the story of the Pittsburgh reporter that tried to talk to Randle-El at the Super Bowl parade, thinking that he was Hines Ward. Randle-El wouldn't talk to him. It happened on live TV and was hilarious.
