Do you prefer to listen to certain sports?

For me, baseball was made for radio. The monotony of Ball-Strike-Out...repeat, is perfect for carrying on in the background while enjoying some time around the yard. I remember many family picnic's where the game went on in the background, everybody yapping and going about their business. Seemingly no one paying any mind at all.

Ball-Strike-Out.....and we go to the bottom of the......next up..... and on and on.

Kids playing, 20 different adults having 20 different conversations, yet when the few seconds of excitement that inevitably occur in any ballgame burst from the speakers, everyone paused. Cheers or groans followed, and maybe a ball cap or two ended up in the manure pile near the garden. Then life went on.

Eat-Work-Sleep....and we go to the bottom of the....next up.
