Do you want Tiger Woods......

Do you want Tiger Woods to break Jack Nicklaus' majors record?

Forget for a minute do you think it will happen. Rather do you actually want it to happen or not?

Yes

I want it to happen. Records are meant to be broke and in my time the best person to break Jack Nicklaus`s record is Tiger Woods. Also, it`s no secret that I`m a big fan of Tiger`s.

It's going to happen but I don't care if he does because unless I gamble on the outcome it has no effect on my life.

Fair enough. One thing for sure, if he does or doesn't break it. Whoever has the record, it could easily stand for most of our lifetimes and maybe well beyond.

Golf is far more competitive than ever before, as far as the parity too.

Do you want Tiger Woods to break Jack Nicklaus' majors record? No Did want to see it happen before his real character was revealed. Now, dont want him associated with the title of "greatest" ever.

Forget for a minute do you think it will happen. Rather do you actually want it to happen or not? Dont want it to happen now as stated above. And, unlike others, I dont think it is necessarily a given that he can accomplish it now. This weekend's win hasnt shown he hold it together to win the # of majors he needs to break the record.

Dont really care if he gets the record or not. Guy turns 36 this Dec so he has the same amount of major wins as Jack had at 36 yrs old. Probably wont make it since there is more parity among the players today and more dept in the tourneys. Woods also is only 1/4 black.

Liking women has nothing to do with character

Having affairs with women when your wife and children are at home does have to do with character

Evidently, Tiger disagrees with you. Maybe you need to go back and watch his apology. You know, the one where he said he needs to stop his irresponsible behavior and start living a life of integrity. Thankfully, you dont define what it means to have character and integrity for others--that is a choice each individual makes for his own life.

Tiger woods "The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior. I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable. And I am the only person to blame. I stopped living by the core values that I was taught to believe in.

I knew my actions were wrong. But I convinced myself that normal rules didn't apply. I never thought about who I was hurting. Instead, I thought only about myself. I ran straight through the boundaries that a married couple should live by. I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to. I felt that I had worked hard my entire life and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me. I felt I was entitled. Thanks to money and fame, I didn't have far -- didn't have to go far to find them.

I was wrong. I was foolish. I don't get to play by different rules. The same boundaries that apply to everyone apply to me. I brought this shame on myself. I hurt my wife, my kids, my mother, my wife's family, my friends, my foundation, and kids all around the world who admired me.

I've had a lot of time to think about what I have done. My failures have made me look at myself in a way I never wanted to before. It is now up to me to make amends. And that starts by never repeating the mistakes I have made. It is up to me to start living a life of integrity.

I once heard -- and I believe it is true -- it's not what you achieve in life that matters, it is what you overcome. Achievements on the golf course are only part of setting an example. Character and decency are what really count. Parents used to point to me as a role model for their kids. I owe all of those families a special apology. I want to say to them that I am truly sorry."

PS Guess your wife has your permission to sleep with any degenerate because she likes men.

While you and I may have different standards for defining character, whether or not someone has character is up to their own actions. You and I are not the arbiter's of Tiger's character, it is up to Tiger to live. Watch the whole video or look up the transcript of his speech and you will see Tiger says the same thing himself. He is now on a long journey to redeem himself which can only be proven thru his actions over time.

He showed his real character by his own actions while trying to promote his facade of being someone worth emulating. You dont repeatedly betray your wife, kids, family, religion, God, business associates, foundation and its kids, sponsors and friends and then repair those relationships with an apology. He will reveal his new character and core values the same way he revealed his personal failures.

Transcript of his apology here: Tiger Woods' apology: Full transcript - Page 3 - CNN
