Does anyone know Sandy Koufax ?

I know he is a very private person.
I have seen him a few times at a charity golf outing that Bob Gibson used to hold here in Omaha and he is always very elusive in regards to signing autographs.

I collect autographed official major league baseballs signed by Hall of Famers and basically have every living HOF er and many deceased ones too, but I am needing Mr. Koufax.

It's a long shot , but I thought with our vast cast of members here that perhaps there might be someone who could possibly give a tip or a thought on how to get a ball signed by him.

I think he lives in PA.

I realize I could buy one on ebay, but that's always iffy and too expensive to take that chance.

Anyway, I woke up today today thinking that , who knows, there may be someone here with an 'In ; with him.

thanks and have a great weekend everyone

May your plate be filled with turkey.

I know he is very hard to get to sign autographs. My grandparents were in a hotel (I forget the year) with the Dodgers that night. They got like six or seven autographs (Drysdale, Wills, Alston, etc..), but Sandy would not sign.

Good luck and let me know if you find him haha

I can't help you, but do you get lots of autographs in AZ? I love getting them from 'name' players during Spring Training, so far my fav was Joe Carter since he won the WS for the Blue Jays while I was still a kid, I only have probably two current HOF'ers, Fuller and E. Banks, Cubs guys are always easy to meet it seems.

I really never went after much in the times I was out to AZ and at spring games. I could have had Griffey Jr. but just sort of watched as the young kids were getting their items signed.
