I hear LimeWire is down.

Working for me but I use the older 5.3 but I do get the message they are under court order.....would be interested in what to use next also.

I guess it goes to show how long it has been since I used Lime Wire. I didn't realize they were shut down, it was such a good source to get music.

I will have to try some of the above mentioned avenues now, thanks for sharing boys.

I tried Limewire after this news came out, it worked fine. Could still download.

Not sure if this is still the case today, might check and see.

I have Lime Wire 5.5.8 & logged in earlier and the first thing it says is a court ordered shut down the service. Long story short, a court ordered was issued to prevent them from file sharing & I couldn't do anything else other then log back out.

I saw the same notice, but was able to search and download anyways. Have not tried since, so I don't know what if anything has changed.
