Drunkest cities in the U.S. list is out.
A survey by Men’s Health has revealed the ‘wettest’ — i.e. ‘drunkest’ — cities in America. The magazine came up with the list based on data including death rates from alcoholic liver disease, booze-fueled car crashes, frequency of binge-drinking in the past month, number of DUI arrests, and severity of DUI penalties.
California had the most cities on the list — with three making the top ten: 1. Fresno, Calif. 2. Reno, Nev. 3. Billings, Mont. ![]() 4. Riverside, Calif. 5. Austin, Tex. 6. St. Louis, Mo. 7. San Antonio, Tex. 8. Lubbock, Tex. 9. Tucson, Ariz. 10. Bakersfield, Calif. |

Austin on there cause all those pussies are hammered after 5 beers and just get stupid.
I know Boston was in top ten prior to WCI moving...don't know why Chicago isn't yet?? Strange.

can't believe detroit didn't make the list...was a city filled with drunks back in the day...and with the economy being really crap in detroit right now, would have thought it would have brought some newcomers into the drunk circle

REally a bullshit list, I have been to a few of those cities and, well, no way.
DUI arrests are not a good indicator on drunkenness, but rather how much those areas count on the fines to fund the counties and municipalities.

#8 Lubbock definitely deserves the list. Went there my freshman and sophomore year in college, one of the drunkest towns because there isn't shit to do there. Place blows. Happiness is Lubbock Texas in your rearview mirror. Hot chicks though.

There probably isn't anything to do in Montana, so they have to drink.
