DVD Entertainment systems for cars

Anyone know anything about these?

I just bought a new car and want to put the monitors in the headrests. My last car had the monitor in the roof. It came with the car so I have no idea about what brands are the best.

Thanks

I don't want to watch tv while I'm driving. The map is enough. Just need the monitors in the back for my daughter

there's the expensive way.
or there is headrests with DVD players builtin and fit any cars. It just replaces your stock headrests.
I'll get you the name later or tomorrow.

Personally ALOT of people waste money on these things and simply put....they are only usable while You are in the car.....it jus doesn't make sense to spend this kind of money for only driving...

Do your self a favor and buy a couple 100$ dvd portable players and that way you can use them on the go...(in doctors office/vacation/waiting rooms/etc etc etc and also have them in the car...also have it at home for personal use/etc/etc/etc

and then buy 1 or 2 of these.

about 5-20$ max a piece.

this is really the best way to go imo......didnt mean to step on your toes zooma bro...but this really is least expensive and really economical and then you can get full use of the player(s).

If u are worried about broadcasting one movie in both headrests...they also sell a cord for that as well (to link them)....available at radio shack and other electronic stores/internet as well for about 5-10$

whats nice is u can have two seperate videos if kids like different things.

GL in ur search bro

looks like for about 250$ u can do two of these on the head rests and also stay "portable" and economical

I did the same thing Stash is suggesting Ron. I just picked up a portable one that you can use anywhere at a fraction of the cost.

Portable DVD players are nice but if you have the headrest ones, you can have the sound project over the car speakers.

I had that in my old car. It also had the wireless headsets. The only problem with having it on the car speakers, is having to listen to the movie and not see it. Most of the movies my 7 year old daughter like, I don't care to listen to. lol

stash no worries; but you are incorrect on this one...

These headrests i talk about are 250 for the pair. They are made with leather and the have a builtin dvd player and display a 14" screen (i dont know the exact specs); but i'll find out the info for you. I have no interest in pushing this but it does look very classy in a car and IMO is the best option.
