Early Line Movement

Is it safe to say that Early line movement is caused by sharp bettors getting in early? or is it mainly just the average bettors causing the line to move.

I noticed alot of people on here dont place a bet until the day of or before the games. by then most lines move a fair bit.

I have personally been placing my bets on sunday this year. Later in the week you might have a chance for a middle. I think a lot of sharp bettors probably do bet early BUT it would take less money early in the week to move a line.
