Thumbs down Ebay

Place just sucks now.....So I sold a pair of cubs tickets today and call of duty 4 and both buyers gave me this two excuses......

Hey man sorry my wife is a dumbass we needed Saturday's game not Sunday's, mind you I had the date in the title of the listing and in the description...

Other guy said hey dude sorry I went to cancel my bid but ebay wouldnt let me and I did not want to bid on your item, sorry........

LMFAO!!! What do I do now, man this place is turning into a joke

because stubhub takes way to much commish, the pair sold for $180, sell em on stubhub and then they sell for $153 and you take $27 outta my pocket...it adds up when I flip tickets every day.....usually i just use craigslist because cash is king

F*ck ebay. Last time I sold something I had to wait like a month for Paypal to payoff. Ebay blows

i sold my final four tickets on Ebay. transaction went pretty smooth but it took me 8 days to get my money because of all the rules around proving you shipped something and paypal holding the money for 6 days.

i dont use stubhub to buy tix anymore just because of the commission on top of the shipping fee of 15-20 bucks.

ebay is still a great place to buy, but to sell its becoming as issue

I was just going to say this.

But still, I wonder on some of the collectible item prices...some are way too low. I wonder if they're damaged or that price is just people with nothing to do and fabricate all this crap.

I know what u mean. If u only sell once in a while u expect to be paid off quick. When it's a biz then up to a month is ok. Just adjust the budget accordingly.

I have a lil' over 300 MacFarlane action figures, mostly NFL (going back to Series One and onwards--half of them still packaged never opened), but some NHL & MLB which I'll be unloading soon. Forget ebay. If I advertise it will be in the community forum of MacFarlane which they specialize in. I might be willing to sell them locally at less $1 each item and avoid all this special handling and freight and all the extra paper work it adds...and THE WAITING PROCESS!
