Ebay sucks now - Dont Sell there.

I sold something on ebay a couple weeks ago. I don't use Ebay much and never will again; they absolutely screw the sellers now.

Guy wins my auction, 3-days later I contact him via email asking if he's going to pay. Now he has 7 days to respond to that. He finally does respond and pays me the day before Thanksgiving at like 2:30pm.

But PayPal holds the funds for 21 days or until the buyer leaves positive feedback.

So, I head out to the post office to send it off, but, of course, the f*ckers closed at 3:00 that day (missed it by 5 minutes, no joke). So, I tell the guy that I'll have to send it Friday. I send it Friday, and I track it - he received it on Dec 1 (send USPS Priority mail as promised).

Here it is Dec. 3 and I have to email the guy again asking him to leave positive feedback so I can get paid.

What a f*cking joke this is now; first you have to beg the winner of the auction to pay you (which they evidently are under no obligation to do), then you have to ask them to leave positive feedback so you can get paid (again, no obligation there either), otherwise you wait 21 days before PayPal (Ebay) releases the funds to you. Then you still have to wait another 4-5 days for the money to get transferred to your bank account.

Hey Ebay:
GO F*CK YOURSELVES!!

It's been almost a year since I've sold anything on Ebay, I guess that's a new thing they've set up because it didn't use to be that way. That's bullshit because when I buy something I don't bother to leave feedback for weeks sometimes (didn't know the seller didn't get paid until I did).

I guess since Paypal is on the hook when someone gets ripped off they've implemented this new policy. They should advertise it more and make this clear and known to everyone who sells. To me, it seems like that would keep lots of people from selling shit on Ebay.

Really? - WTF?? - I was gonna let this homo have it too; but only after I beg for positive feedback from him.

Wow... why would anybody sell on ebay more than once now? (once for this learning experience).

Just got an email back from dude saying he would leave positive feedback, but he hasn't received the item yet. LOL!!! USPS tracking says it was delivered on 12/1.

So, I suppose he can just say he never got it and Ebay will refund his money and he gets my stuff for free. This is awesome!!

I only have 60 positive feedbacks (out of a possible 60 = 100% positive) in the 8 years I've been using ebay. That means I'm high risk. You must have a much higher feedback rating. I had been a casual ebay user.

No, that's not the point. Hell, it was only a couple hundred bucks; but still, I could have enjoyed throwing the 2 Franklins off the bridge and watching the homeless fight over them.
