Email from SIA regarding firepay and other payment methods

Due to recent payment processing changes, we are unable to offer Firepay as a payment method for our US clients.

How will this affect your ability to bet with Sports Interaction? In short, it won’t. There are numerous other deposit methods to choose from on our site, and you will not be short of options.

If you prefer to fund your account using your credit card, we suggest you deposit using Speedcard. Speedcard allows you to make deposits to your account using your credit card and make withdrawals from ATM machines.

If you prefer to fund your account using bank transfer, try using Instant Bank Transfer. With Instant Bank Transfer, you can quickly transfer funds from your checking account to your Sports Interaction account.

To find out more about what deposit options are open to you, and what deposit bonuses you are eligible for, call our specially trained deposit advisors at 1-888-922-5575.

If you have questions about this change, give us a call or email us at support@sportsinteraction.com, or contact us via Live Chat.

As an alternative to Firepay, we suggest you deposit using Speedcard. If you have never previously deposited using Speedcard, you are eligible for a 10% deposit bonus.

Kind Regards,

Sports Interaction Team

I requested a withdrawal of all of my funds at SIA yesterday via SwiftPay. I guess we will see how long it takes them to process this. The message I got indicated 2-3 business days.

This email they sent out is a positive email about them staying around. But their customer service makes it so hard to deal with them and I understand their frustrations

Ditto. Some decent underdog lines and had good success there, but I will wait for better clarification of SIA's position in this whole mess before investing with them again.

Just received an email from SwiftPay that the balance from my SIA account had been transfered to them and that they were transfereing it directly to my bank account. It took about 29 hours for this to be finalized after I requested the withdrawal yesterday afternoon.

Not bad.

Is Firepay based in the US? If so I wonder why only them.

Firepay moved out of the US on their own. There are a few firepay statements in this forum

Check out this email I got from SIA this morning:

Dear Customer,

Due to the recent Gaming Legislation that has been passed, Swiftpay International has notified us that they cannot process your withdrawal. We have had to cancel your withdrawal via Swiftpay International and reverse the balance back to your Sports Interaction account. We apologize for this inconvenience as this was a business decision made by Swiftpay International and completely out of our control.

In order to process your winnings back to you as soon as possible, please reply to this email along with your banking details and we will be happy to withdraw the funds for you. If your Sports Interaction account already holds your banking information, simply request another Echeck withdrawal and your withdrawal will be approved the same day.

If you do not have any banking information entered in your Sports Interaction account, please make sure to send the following banking information:

Account Holder’s Name:
The Bank’s Name:
Complete Address of Bank:
Routing/ABA Number: (9 digits)
Account #:

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. Our Accounting staff will enter your banking information and process your withdrawal within 24 hours of receipt of your email.

Sports Interaction wants you to know that this interruption of service will not affect future withdrawals.

Please forward your information to us at accounts@sportsinteraction.com

Thank you for your understanding,

Accounts Department
Sports Interaction

Just got the same email Judge. That's flat out ridiculous. Now I have to trust my bank account information directly to a sportsbook?

I went ahead and gave them my banking info, Dom. I hope I do not live to regret doing so.

It only took these guys five days to respond with thei message:

Your Sports Interaction withdrawal has been processed.

USD $XXXX.XX has been transferred to your bank account as detailed below and should reach your account within 3-4 business days.

I responded with the following message:

Dear Sirs:
Considering the fact that your initial message stated that the funds would be transfered within 24 hours of receiving my banking information, I will not hold my breath while waiting for the money to show up in my account.

I received the message I am reffering to on October 19th so you will have to pardon my sceptism and accept my contempt for what I consider to be very shoddy customer service. You can be sure that I will not be doing business with SIA in the future.

At a time when US players are finding it difficult to trust a number of previously well established books, you have managed to alienate another potential good customer.

Good luck with your business plan.

I heard that SwiftPay was owned by SIA. Something seems a little fishy.

My bank received my transfer this morning as well, but I held off requesting the transfer from SIA until this past Tuesday. 3 day turnaround was actually much quicker than I thought it might be.

Maybe they process these things on a weekly basis?
