Empire Poker is confiscating my money

I have about 3300 on this site and they are confiscating my money claiming i was cheating and gaining an unfair advantage over other players, which i wasnt. What can i do to get my money back???????

Not sure about what you can do now.....but in the future, do not leave a lot of money in the account. Take some out every so often.

I am not saying that you cheated, but for the sake of a "WORST CASE SCENARIO".....

If you did cheat, then they have every right to nullify your winnings.

HOWEVER.....they have to refund the money that was in your account PRIOR to you cheating.

i know and they wont. What happened was my friend sauid he bought this program that autoplays, a bot. he sent it to me and i was just messin around with it at a 1/2 limit table. I usually play 5/10 nl. Anyways their system detected it and i didnt know it was not allowed. I lost like 100 dollars with it, cuz i let it run for about 2 hours and the thing was terrible. Its not in their terms and conditions that this thing is not allowed the rule they are referring to is "I seeked to gain an unfair advantage over other players." I told them that in no way can a robot gain advantage over other players and that i lost 100 dollars to the players at the table. They still refuse to refund my money and i feel live done nothign wrong

If you lost money with it, how did you gain an unfair advantage???
You are still entitled to the funds prior to using the bot.
They are just trying to play "hardball" with you.
Even law enforcement can only confiscate ill-gotten gains.
In your case, you lost money.

These bastards with the bots, they are playing both sides of the fence.
They sell you the bot to play with.
Then they sell the bot detector to the books.

Just like the guys with the radar and radar detectors.

i know i wasnt even using it to make money i just wanted to see how good it was. Theyve closed my account. How do i make them re-open it so i can get my money??? they refuse to...

I think you may only get back whatever you initially deposited in the account.
Unless you can prove to them that you had never used this "program" before they caught you.
In Empire Pokers minds- they are thinking that since they caught you using this program, that means you have probably been using it all along - to gain an unfair advantage. Whether you have or not, they probably don't care.
Pretty silly move . IMO.
I don't think you are going to get much back out of this one.

The problem I see here is yea you can say or did really lose money while using the bot but their argument is they dont know how long you have been using it to play so therefore all the money in your account is in suspicion of being gained by unfair advantage. That may not be the case especially if you said you just tried it out but that will be their argument if they wanted to be an ass to you and not give you your money. The best I think you can do is ask to speak to a supervisor and be honest about the whole thing and plead with him/her that you have learned about not being able to use a bot and try to get your money back.
